Illustrated Zine, Traditional Attire Around Africa Vol. 2

In the second installment of Traditional Attires Around Africa, we explore 12 new rich cultures through their clothing. This time, they are showcased in little moments, created with a combination of watercolors and alcohol markers for a stark contrast between the bold vibrant fabrics and the nostalgic settings and stories being told. 
 
If you enjoyed Volume 1 of this series, do not miss this next fuller issue! Once again, I made each drawing's outline and then colored them using alcohol-based markers (Copic and Windsor & Newton brush markers) and added a touch of softness with watercolor paint.
 
Each spread has some details about the outfit and its provenance, a full color illustration, and highlights the country's location on the African map for reference.
